Giving Hearts Day

Pembina County Memorial Hospital

Giving Hearts Day is a 24-hour fundraising event!
Did you know that Pembina County Memorial Hospital was built as a "living" memorial to honor the veterans of World War I and II. It would be a place of healing and of concern for the health/well-being of the patients. In 1953 Pembina County Memorial Hospital opened its doors. Still to this day, Pembina County Memorial Hospital Association continues to care for our patients and residents as a legacy of providing quality, compassionate care to our patients and residents. The facilities continue to grow with new services and programs since that group of concerned area residents met to discuss ways to honor the veterans.
Giving Hearts Day is February 13, 2020, Pembina County Memorial Hospital's mission is to provide the best quality healthcare for our patients. The funds from this fundraiser will be used to purchase a FAST (Focused Abdominal Sonography for Trauma) Ultrasound. FAST is portable, rapid, non-invasive, repeatable, sensitivity and specificity for for free fluid and cost effective. It can detect fluid, solid organ injuries, haemothorax, pneumothorax and rib fractures. This machine would enhance the detection of critical life threatening injuries.
Please consider helping our patients in the early diagnosis of trauma by donating to Giving Hearts Day!
