 now that Pembina County Memorial Hospital was built as a 'living' memorial
  to honor the veterans of World War I and II. It would be a place of heali
 ng and of concern for the health/well-being of the patients. In 1953 Pembi
 na County Memorial Hospital opened its doors.  Still to this day\, Pembina
  County Memorial Hospital Association continues to care for our patients a
 nd residents as a legacy of providing quality\, compassionate care to our 
 patients and residents. The facilities continue to grow with new services 
 and programs since that group of concerned area residents met to discuss w
 ays to honor the veterans. \nGiving Hearts Day is February 13\, 2020\, Pem
 bina County Memorial Hospital's mission is to provide the best quality hea
 lthcare for our patients. The funds from this fundraiser will be used to p
 urchase a FAST (Focused Abdominal Sonography for Trauma) Ultrasound.  FAST
  is portable\, rapid\, non-invasive\, repeatable\, sensitivity and specifi
 city for for free fluid and cost effective.  It can detect fluid\, solid o
 rgan injuries\, haemothorax\, pneumothorax and rib fractures.  This machin
 e would enhance the detection of critical life threatening injuries.\nPlea
 se consider helping our patients in the early diagnosis of trauma by donat
 ing to Giving Hearts Day!
