Career opportunities at Wedgewood Manor are:

 

Full Time Activities Manager: 

Plan, direct, and participate in the services of the activity department to ensure appropriate programs and activities meet the needs, interests and abilities of each nursing home resident and swing bed patient.  Knowledge of MDS’s, willingness to assist with facility special events and manage volunteer program.  Must be CNA certified or willing to obtain and meet at least one of the following requirements:  certified recreation therapist or eligible to be certified within the year, certified activity director or consultant, occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant, 2 years full time experience in social or recreational programs within the last 5 years (one being a healthcare setting), completion of Activity Training Program approved by the ND Department of Health, Bachelor’s Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field.             

Full-Time Activities Aide

Rotating day and PM shifts, every other weekend (PM shifts earn an additional $2/hr)

CNA certification required – CNA training provided if needed

Full-Time Cook/Dietary Aide

Weekdays, every other weekend, alternating shifts

Willingness to cross-train as a dietary aide

Full/Part Time PM/Night LPN/RN 

Full/Part Time PM/Night CNAs

Full-Time Housekeeper 

8hr day shifts, M-F 6:30 am-3:00 pm, weekend rotation

 

Full-Time Med/Surg Supervisor: 

The Med/Surg supervisor will perform a supervisor role in addition to working on the floor as an RN, balancing shift work and office duties.  This position excludes weekend rotation but willingness to fill in to ensure adequate staffing.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to scheduling, quality studies, timesheets, employee evaluations, policy review, state survey compliance team, attendance at various meetings.  North Dakota RN License Required.

Full/Part Time RN (Sign On Bonus: $4,000.00 Full Time/$2,000.00 Part Time)

Full/Part Time LPN (Sign On Bonus:  $2,000.00 Full Time/$1,000.00 Part Time


Department: Rehabilitation Services

Position: Physical Therapist

Status: Full time (40HRs, 8hr day shifts)

Special duties: Evaluates and administers physical therapy treatment programs

Skills & Education: Requires current licensure as a physical therapist in the state of ND

 

Department: Rehabilitation Services

Position: Physical Therapy Assistant

Status: Full time (40HRs, 8hr day shifts)

Special duties: Plans and administers physical therapy treatment programs under supervision and direction of registered physical therapist

Skills & Education: Requires current licensure as a physical therapy assistant in the state of ND

 

Position: Speech Pathologist

Status: Flex time

Special duties: This position is responsible for developing and implementing appropriate therapeutic programs to assist in patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.  

Skills & Education: Requires current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of ND
